If you have the Garmin G1000 Trainer (simulator) software, and the CH Products Yoke and Pedals, and can't get them to work right in the G1000 software, you're not alone.
The Garmin product is very limited in what it expects to see in the way of a joystick. Therefore, it doesn't play nice with multiple devices, and doesn't fly well without the rudder pedals working.
There is a way to make it work, however, and that's what this page is about. After months of tweaking, I've figured out exactly how to configure the CH Products Flight Sim Yoke and Pro Pedals to work correctly with the Garmin G1000 Trainer software.
You can figure it out yourself, or send me a little flying money (only $5 USD!) and be up and 'flying' in 15 minutes. I've thoroughly documented the process, with detailed notes and screenshots. All proceeds are used to support my Angel Flight missions, so your contribution is going towards a good cause, even if it's not tax deductible. I invite you to read about some of my previous Angel Flights, in
January and February of 2006, via my blog. These were flown in a Garmin G1000-equipped Cessna 172.
Thank you!
